The quest for immortality has captivated humanity throughout time. But now the riddle has been solved. The Unbegotten, a secret association of world-renown scientists, has accomplished the impossible . . . creating a group of genetically superior beings who are resistant to disease and aging. Yet the results of this “Progeny Project” have unexpected side effects as well—triggering dangerous genetic mutations that threaten the entire human race. Now the Unbegotten must find a way to contain their creations . . . even as one of their fellow scientists plots a revolt of the Progeny to create his own nation within the United States.
